Patiently Waiting

I have said before how we have a cornfield in our backyard. This doesn’t bother me the way that I had originally thought that it would, actually, I kind of like it. It makes for beautiful scenery, gives us a bit of privacy and provides a sound barrier from the road behind us, is a quiet substitute for a neighbor, etc. But for Jayce, the best thing about the corn field is that it is eventually cut down by a very big tractor.

This year, that tractor came at a rather inopportune time for Jayce. Concessions had to be made.

I could not resist such an unusual photo op. I won’t be posting the pictures of when he jumped up and ran over to the window, but I am still laughing over them.
